I'm just a cheesy poet, who loves her kids and hope they know it!
(Actually, I'm not a poet at all. These just came to me out of the blue one night.)
"I Love You, Braden"
I love how you are always growing,
Every day it keeps on showing.
I love your colorful preschool art,
And your stickers on your chart.
I love your passion for your cars,
My dreams for you reach beyond the stars.
I love your cuddles, your kisses, your hugs,
And your latest interest in all those silly bugs.
I love your funny stories,
And how you are learning to do "chor-ies."
I am blessed to be your mother,
You are such a great big brother.
I love your super silly ways,
I pray each day they never stray.
I love absolutely every thing,
What joy to me you will forever bring.
Two peas in a pod, you and me,
I'm blessed to have you for all eternity.
"I Love You, Travis"
I love our journey, its just begun,
You and I will have so much fun.
I love your precious goos and coos,
And when you play with my tennis shoes.
I love each day, something new you try,
It breaks my heart to see you cry.
I love how your face lights up when you smile,
And when you nap a long, long while.
I love the way you splish and splash,
The moment I put you in your bath.
I love your deep, dark brown eyes,
You seem grown beyond your years; so wise.
I love your sweet baby kisses,
And the way you "help" me do the dishes.
I love your speedy crawl,
And the way you and brother like to brawl.
I love you, my little ten-month-old
How privileged I am to see your life unfold.
I love our time together
I love it now, more than ever.
